We had a spontaneous weekend trip to Butlins Skegness at the end of half term and used our Max card to get a £20 discount.
We found the staff very accommodating of our sons needs and the setting as a whole. It would not suit every SEN child as it can be busy and you have to choose activities around your child's personal needs.

Our son loves the thrill of fairgrounds, swimming, lights and shows so we found when the quieter times were for these. We also used our accommodation for times when calm time is needed away from the crowds.
Then had ear defenders etc for any loud areas we found ourselves in! The venue does have ear defenders to loan out if you need too.

Had a fab time at Haven using the discount, and have booked another stay at a different site.

Everything seemed really accessible for our needs.

We didn't need to inform staff of disability as it was pretty accessible without.

I used my son’s max card for the first time on a family holiday to Haven.
It was such a huge help and we were able to show his max card to other venues while we were there and got discounts on other places too.

It’s so brilliant and it really helps us as a family be able to do things we usually wouldn’t be able to do. It’s a lifesaver and I’m incredibly grateful for it.
