Hall of Fame Award Nominations for Jul-Dec 26

Winner
Icon Podium PositionNominated Date - 12-11-2017
Nominee Name - Bob Robinson - Adult Social Care - Social Worker
Nominee Service - Social Care

Nomination Details
Bob visited our family to do a review of my daughters Social care needs. Bob went to great lengths to engage with my daughter, but also took into account the fact that my views were also considered (even though she is now an adult). We were not bombarded with questions he already knew the answers to.

The process was very quick - getting a decision about the care package in weeks rather than months and he kept us informed throughout. The referrals he made for us came through very fast and he gave us lots of information.

He also went to great lengths to talk about my daughters interests and to make her feel comfortable. Some may say that he is only doing his job, but in our view he made the process simple, easy, quick and a lot more enjoyable than we expected.

Sadly my father passed away recently and Sue dropped everything at very short notice to help me when I needed it.
Her kindness and support during a very stressful time in my life was made even more special as she has to juggle caring for her children's and parents needs too.

She also works for Sense and is a wonderful example of someone who goes out of her way to help the people around her. I just wanted to nominate her as I feel as though she deserves to know how much she is appreciated.
