This session consists of 4 interactive presentations:-
Sensory Processing Project
The NHS, Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum have developed a pilot programme for CYP with Sensory Processing Difficulties. This includes a series of interactive online resources supported by an online workshop led by a Behaviour Specialist for parents and carers of children and young people with sensory processing difficulties.
As part of the pilot the Parents and carers are being asked to completed a 12 week diary of how they have implemented strategies and techniques to support and evaluate how effective they are.
Russell and Abi will talk about the pilot project and its developments.
Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum
LPCF and how it works for you.
John will be giving an overview of LPCF and what it means to be a parent carer forum in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Young Voices
Lincolnshire Young Voices is a group of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 11-25.
Jo and Emma will talk about their work and how they are working with partners in Lincolnshire.
SEND Employer Forum
Scott will talk about embarking on an Employment project. The project is aimed at embedding an employment pathway into our special school's existing Post-16 curriculum offer, which significantly increases young people's chances of obtaining paid employment upon leaving education.
