Topic -Breaking Unhelpful Habits
Gentle strategies to change habits that no longer serve you — without pressure, blame, or needing “willpower”
Many of us develop habits as a way of coping with stress, tiredness, or overwhelm. These habits are not a sign of weakness — they are your brain’s way of trying to help you manage difficult situations. However, over time, some habits may stop being helpful or may leave you feeling stuck or frustrated.
This hypnotherapy wellbeing session, with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF helps you understand how habits are formed and how to gently begin changing them in a realistic and compassionate way.
During the session, you will:
Understand how habits develop and why they can be hard to change
Learn why willpower alone is often not the answer
Discover gentle, practical ways to create new, more helpful patterns
Explore how small, manageable changes can lead to lasting improvements
This session is supportive, realistic, and free from judgement. It focuses on helping you work with your brain, rather than against it.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting parent carers to strengthen their wellbeing, confidence, and resilience.
Free for LPCF members only.
Come exactly as you are — tired, busy, or overwhelmed. You are very welcome.

Topic -January – Resetting After an Intense Season
A gentle space to recover from Christmas, school transitions, and winter exhaustion — helping you regain a sense of steadiness without pressure to “start fresh”.
January can feel like a difficult month for many parent carers. After the intensity of Christmas, changes in routine, school returns, and winter fatigue, it’s common to feel emotionally and physically drained. There can also be pressure to “reset” or “start fresh,” which may feel unrealistic when you’re already exhausted.
This hypnotherapy wellbeing session, with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, offers a calm, supportive space to slow down, recover, and gently regain your sense of balance.
During the session, you will:
Understand why January can feel particularly heavy and overwhelming
Learn gentle ways to recover from emotional and physical exhaustion
Explore how to regain steadiness without pressure or unrealistic expectations
Discover techniques to support calm, resilience, and emotional balance
Feel reassured that it’s okay to move forward at your own pace
This session is not about making resolutions or forcing change. It’s about helping you feel supported as you recover and rebuild your energy gradually.
The session is relaxed and supportive. You won’t be expected to share personal experiences unless you wish to — you are welcome to simply listen and take what feels helpful.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting parent carers’ wellbeing throughout every season of the year.
Free for LPCF members only.
Come exactly as you are — tired, busy, or overwhelmed. You are very welcome.
