Topic- Being Kinder to Yourself
Explore self-compassion without guilt — letting go of harsh self-talk and learning to treat yourself with the same kindness you give others.
Parent carers often give so much of themselves to supporting others that their own needs and wellbeing can come last. Many also carry an inner voice that is critical, blaming, or unkind — especially during difficult moments.
This gentle hypnotherapy wellbeing session with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, helps you understand why this happens and how to begin developing a more supportive, compassionate relationship with yourself.
During the session, you will:
Understand why self-criticism is so common, especially under stress
Learn how to recognise and soften harsh self-talk
Explore the importance of self-compassion for emotional wellbeing
Discover simple ways to treat yourself with greater kindness and understanding
Build emotional resilience and reduce feelings of guilt or pressure
This is not about expecting perfection or asking you to do more. It’s about helping you feel calmer, more balanced, and better supported emotionally.
The session is relaxed, supportive, and practical. You are welcome to simply listen and take what feels helpful for you.
Being kinder to yourself isn’t selfish — it helps you protect your wellbeing so you can continue supporting your family in a sustainable way.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting the emotional health and resilience of parent carers.

Topic -Breaking Unhelpful Habits
Gentle strategies to change habits that no longer serve you — without pressure, blame, or needing “willpower”
Many of us develop habits as a way of coping with stress, tiredness, or overwhelm. These habits are not a sign of weakness — they are your brain’s way of trying to help you manage difficult situations. However, over time, some habits may stop being helpful or may leave you feeling stuck or frustrated.
This hypnotherapy wellbeing session, with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF helps you understand how habits are formed and how to gently begin changing them in a realistic and compassionate way.
During the session, you will:
Understand how habits develop and why they can be hard to change
Learn why willpower alone is often not the answer
Discover gentle, practical ways to create new, more helpful patterns
Explore how small, manageable changes can lead to lasting improvements
This session is supportive, realistic, and free from judgement. It focuses on helping you work with your brain, rather than against it.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting parent carers to strengthen their wellbeing, confidence, and resilience.
Free for LPCF members only.

Topic - Social Media & Your Wellbeing
Understand how scrolling affects your mood and confidence, and learn how to use social media in a way that supports rather than drains you.
Social media can be a valuable way for parent carers to find support, information, and connection. However, it can also sometimes leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or not “good enough,” especially when you’re already managing a lot.
This hypnotherapy wellbeing session, with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, helps you understand how social media affects your brain, emotions, and confidence — and how to use it in a way that protects your wellbeing.
During the session, you will:
Understand how social media can influence your thoughts, mood, and stress levels
Learn why it’s easy for scrolling to become draining without realising
Discover simple ways to set healthy boundaries with social media
Explore how to use social media as a source of support, not pressure
Build confidence in making choices that protect your emotional wellbeing
This is not about giving up social media. It’s about helping you feel more in control of how and when you use it, so it supports rather than drains you.
The session is relaxed, supportive, and practical. You are welcome to simply listen and take away ideas that feel helpful for you.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting parent carers to maintain emotional balance, confidence, and resilience.

This calming hypnotherapy wellbeing session, with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, helps you understand why your brain can hold onto worries and introduces gentle techniques to help you mentally “park” the day and move into the evening feeling calmer and more settled.
