Learn how to recognise early signs that your thoughts are escalating
Discover simple techniques to pause, reset, and steady yourself
Build confidence in managing difficult moments more calmly
Feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and reactions
These sessions are relaxed, supportive, and practical. The focus is on giving you tools you can use in everyday life, especially during challenging moments.
Even small changes in how you respond to your thoughts can make a big difference to your wellbeing.
This session is part of LPCF’s ongoing commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing and resilience of parent carers.

Topic- Being Kinder to Yourself
Explore self-compassion without guilt — letting go of harsh self-talk and learning to treat yourself with the same kindness you give others.
Parent carers often give so much of themselves to supporting others that their own needs and wellbeing can come last. Many also carry an inner voice that is critical, blaming, or unkind — especially during difficult moments.
This gentle hypnotherapy wellbeing session with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, helps you understand why this happens and how to begin developing a more supportive, compassionate relationship with yourself.
During the session, you will:
Understand why self-criticism is so common, especially under stress
Learn how to recognise and soften harsh self-talk
Explore the importance of self-compassion for emotional wellbeing
Discover simple ways to treat yourself with greater kindness and understanding
Build emotional resilience and reduce feelings of guilt or pressure
This is not about expecting perfection or asking you to do more. It’s about helping you feel calmer, more balanced, and better supported emotionally.
The session is relaxed, supportive, and practical. You are welcome to simply listen and take what feels helpful for you.
Being kinder to yourself isn’t selfish — it helps you protect your wellbeing so you can continue supporting your family in a sustainable way.
This session forms part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting the emotional health and resilience of parent carers.

Topic-Preparing for Holidays (Without the Overwhelm)
Tools to help you plan, cope with change, and manage expectations so holidays feel more manageable and less stressful
Holidays and special occasions can bring added pressure for parent carers. Changes in routine, increased expectations, and uncertainty can make what should be an enjoyable time feel stressful or overwhelming.
This supportive hypnotherapy wellbeing session with Nicole from Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and LPCF, is designed to help you approach holidays feeling calmer, more prepared, and more in control.
During the session, you will:
Understand why holidays and changes in routine can feel particularly challenging
Learn simple ways to reduce overwhelm when planning and preparing
Explore techniques to manage expectations — both your own and others
Discover ways to stay calm and steady when things don’t go to plan
Build confidence in creating holidays that work for your family
The session focuses on realistic, practical approaches — not perfection. Small changes in how you prepare and respond can make a big difference to how manageable holidays feel.
These sessions are relaxed and supportive. You won’t be expected to share personal experiences unless you wish to — you are welcome to simply listen and take what feels helpful.
This session is part of LPCF’s wellbeing programme, supporting parent carers to feel more confident, resilient, and emotionally supported throughout the year.
