We would like you, as parents to nominate professionals
or teams of professionals who have gone above and beyond for you and/or your child.
Who is your star person or organisation?
Have they given you extra support?
Are they attentive with your child?
Do they deserve recognition?
Do they think outside the box and come up with wonderful ideas?
It could be a SENCO, a teaching assistant, someone from the Local Authority,
a team of Occupational Therapists, a social worker, a volunteer or voluntary organisation.

On Monday 8th January 2018 a proposed strategy has been announced for consultation regarding Education of SEND children in Lincolnshire.
This is a VERY significant proposed strategy that all Parents and Carers of SEND children need to be aware of and contribute to the consultation whilst the opportunity exists.

Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum - Survey of Service Provision
During Jan-Mar 2018 LPCF will be undertaking this valuable measure of how parent carers and school SENDCos view the services offered to SEND children and their parents.
The Department for Education has funded this survey and will be paying close attention to its findings along with the Local Authority and other service providers.
Survey forms are being distributed through Schools, FE colleges, Pre-Schools, and other Education settings across Lincolnshire.
OR people can complete an online version E-Survey.

LPCF would like to thank our Trustees and other Volunteers for their selfless dedication to our Charity.
During the past year they have covered an estimated 16,000 miles, attended over 300 meetings and given around 3,000 hours of their personal time to benefit parents and carers of SEND children.
If you would like to become a Volunteer or a Trustee please feel free to contact us to discuss what you can offer us and what we can offer yourself. You'd be part of a great team doing great work !

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
The campaign is brought to life by the individuals and organisations who come together to organise activities and events throughout the UK, drawing attention to just how important caring is. For 2017 over 1300 events or activities were planned over Carers Week
